It appears as if the "bust" talk is quite premature.
Ryan got the first hat trick in his young NHL career Thursday as he scored three consecutive goals to rally the Ducks from a 3-0 deficit in their eventual 4-3 loss to the Kings.
With five goals in his last three games, Ryan has 11 for the season and is working his way into consideration for the Calder Trophy as rookie of the year...

Bobby Ryan's one-man show wasn't enough for the Anaheim Ducks against the Los Angeles Kings' balanced attack Alexander Frolov scored the go-ahead goal for Los Angeles on a power play after Ryan tied it with three straight goals, and the Kings won 4-3 on Thursday night. "You always feel confident when you lead 3-0.

"I've never had that low a shot total against, so definitely we played pretty well defensively," Hiller said Tuesday night after facing only 18 shots in Anaheim's 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings. "They didn't have many good scoring chances at all.
