» Hurricanes Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)
The Hurricanes haven't been in this position much during the past month—coming off a regulation loss.
But that's what they'll face Saturday at Boston.
Since Paul Maurice returned as coach, the Hurricanes haven't gone consecutive games without earning at least one point. That's what has put them in the mix of potential playoff teams.
Still, they must learn to win on the road. They've done so only three times in eight games under Maurice.
The Hurricanes lost at Boston last month and followed that a week later with a home loss.
Captain Rod Brind'Amour said the games with quick turnarounds can be favorable, particularly when given the chance to make amends right away.

"Nice way to finish off a pretty good day," Bouwmeester said.

With his team down three against the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night, New Jersey coach Brent Sutter pulled his goalie when the Devils got a power play with about 9 minutes left in the game.
